Hours:  Monday - Thursday 6:30am-4:00pm,  Friday 6:30am-10:30am

POSITION: Automated Cutter Operator/Taurus Leather Cutter

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Functions:

·         Correct positioning of markers on fabric

·         Understanding and use of machine software and how to make changes to program as needed

·         Roll out and check fabric for defects

·         Attach or mount materials or items on cutting tables or machines

·         Read tickets to determine specifications and ticketing process

·         Pull up marker and arrange pieces for best fabric yield

·         Separate materials or products according to size, weight, type, condition, color, or shade

·         Shape or trim excess material from pieces

·         Proficient in cutting methods and quality specifications, understanding all cutting codes

·        Understand how to mark pieces, count items and bundle cut parts to go to sewing

·        

POSITION: Fabric Receiving

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:  Receive fabric from vendors and put into our fabric system.

Essential Functions:

·         Unloaded trucks that deliver the fabric ensuring that the correct items are delivered.

·         Inspecting the packing slips to identify the fabric to put into the system.

·         Entering the fabric name and weight of the roll to print the roll tag.

·         Taking the roll that has been entered into the system and putting it in the correct bin location.

Job Specifications: Computer knowledge, able to lift 50 lbs. or more, good with numbers, being organized

POSITION: Saddlestitch Sewer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:  Sew specialty stitching to sewn fabric 

Essential Functions:

*Operate specialty saddlestitch sewing machine to include adjustments, replace needles, etc.

*Read sew notes/specifications for each job

*Setup and operate rope stitch machine

* Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or plant manager

POSITION: Sample Frame Builder

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:  Builds all market samples per specifications 

Essential Functions:

·         Makes all frame changes

·         Assists with unloading frames from outsource vendors

·         Builds all new products for market from marketing/PD specifications

·         Performs other duties as assigned b supervisor or plant manager.

Job Specifications:

Must be able to read blueprints

Operate all types of woodworking equipment in the department

POSITION: Sewer - Cushions

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experienced production upholstery sewer to sew cushions - production.

POSITION: Spring Up

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include 8-way hand tie, installing webbing and springs in chairs and sofa frames prior to upholstering.

Must have experience.

POSITION: Staging

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Matches covers, frames, poly to line up for upholstery department

POSITION: Trimmer - Outside

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Trimmer

Essential Functions:

• Fit, install, and secure material on frames using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, and/or staples
• Build furniture up with loose fiber stuffing, cotton, felt, and/or foam padding to form smooth rounded surfaces

At least 3 years experience required in a high-end furniture environment.

POSITION: Upholstery - Chair Line

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Builds full inside on upholstered frame of chair.

Essential Functions:

• Read and interpret production ticket
• Knowledge of furniture terms and how they apply: flow match spots, center lines, carry throughs, 4 way line ups; adheres to lineup and flow match guidelines
• Seats: sew seat to frame, making cuts, applying cotton, applying border
• Arms: apply foam and cotton to areas on frames arms, make proper cuts and apply fabric to arms, apply borders as needed, band different kinds of arms (sock, track, panel border arm)
• Backs: apply fabric to back aligning stripes, keeping grain of fabric straight

POSITION: Upholstery - Ottomans

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Builds upholstered ottomans.

2-3 years of experience required.

POSITION: Upholstery - Sofa Line

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Builds full inside on upholstered frame of sofa.

Essential Functions:

• Read and interpret production ticket
